Wallet by address.
All you need is the public address, the same one you share to receive coins. A seed phrase or private key is never needed.
STEPS01
How to connect.
- In your wallet, tap Receive and choose the network.
- Copy the address. Check the first and last characters: malware can swap what you copied.
- In PnL, on the Portfolio tab, tap Wallet → Add address and paste it.
NETWORKS02
Which address for which network.
- Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Avalanche C-Chain - one 0x address for all of them.
- Bitcoin - the address starts with 1, 3 or bc1.
- Solana, TRON (starts with T) and TON - each network has its own address.
WALLETS03
Where the address is in popular wallets.
- MetaMask - tap your account to copy the address. Help
- Phantom - Receive; the Solana address is shown by default, other networks are under the QR code. Help
- Trust Wallet - choose the coin → Receive → Copy. Help
- Tangem - choose the token → Receive → Copy. Help
- Ledger Wallet (formerly Ledger Live) - Receive, choose the account, check the address on the device screen. Help
- Rabby - the 0x address is at the top; tapping it copies it. Download Rabby only from rabby.io: search results are full of fakes.
BITCOIN04
Ledger and other wallets that rotate addresses.
Ledger and many other wallets give you a new Bitcoin address every time you receive. A single address shows only part of your balance. Paste the extended public key (xpub, ypub or zpub) into PnL instead: it covers all the wallet's addresses. In Ledger Wallet it's in the Bitcoin account settings, under advanced options.
SAFETY05
Good to know.
- Never type your seed phrase or private key anywhere except the wallet itself. PnL will never ask for them.
- Sharing an address is safe, but anyone can see its balance in a block explorer: that's how blockchains work.
- PnL keeps addresses on your device.
